Pad Printing
Pad Transfer Printing is a gravure like process offering versatility for printing on a
variety of shapes and surfaces. The image is transferred to a special silicone pad
instead of the etched plate used in gravure. The pad is very soft and flexible and
conforms to almost any shape to be printed. The transfer properties of the pad are
such that all ink is released to the surface to be printed, and the pad is clean and
ready for the next printing cycle. Multiple colors are applied right after each other,
without drying time in between.
